About the Etihad Museum

In the same spirit as Dubai Museum, the Etihad Museum takes you to a journey through the different stages of the United Arab Emirates creation. Pictures, historical documents, videos, interactive tools, temporary exhibitions and rare items are displayed in this 25.000 square meter area divided in eight pavilions.
The museum opened in January 2017, next to the Union House, where the treaty establishing the United Arab Emirates was signed in 1971. The building was designed in the shape of a manuscript and includes seven columns representing the pens that were used to sign the constitution.
The museum also includes a two-sections department of education which purpose is to educate, train and deliver educational and practical lessons, a library with more than 3.000 books, a theatre, a restaurant and is connected to the Guest House.

Admission fees

  • Adults 25 y/o and over: 25 AED
  • Students (5 to 24 y/o): 10 AED
  • Groups (10 persons and above): 20 AED per person.
  • Free for children below 5 y/o and forpeople of determination
