About the Falcon Heritage and Sports Center

The falcon is a national symbol in the Emirates and falconry has always been part of the History of Arabs. Falcons
were used for hunting and, therefore, helped the Bedouin survive in the desert. More than tools, they have been considered as companions all through the years and, although people don’t hunt for survival anymore, this strong
relationship remained and Falconry has become a national sport.
The Falcon Heritage & Sports Centre might not be Dubai’s most famous attraction, but it is still a place you can’t
miss if you want to dig into Dubai’s traditions. It is the only place where Falcons can be bought, and you will find
all things Falcon related from specialized stores to a Falcon clinic as well as the Falcon Museum where you can learn
more about this noble animal (history, anatomy, treatments, hunting, falconry sport).
