About the Sheikh Mohammed Center for Cultural Understanding
Located in Al Bastakiya, the Center was created in 1998 by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in order to remove cultural barriers between Emiratis and foreigners, whether they are tourists or expats.
The center organizes various activities, events, tours and educational programs in order to raise awareness regarding tradition, customs and religion.
